American Fork Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Station Area Plan

Psomas worked with Utah Transit Authority (UTA), American Fork City, and Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) to create a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) plan around the American Fork Commuter Rail Station. Psomas conducted community and stakeholder workshops, and City Council and Planning Commission workshops to identify appropriate densities, uses, and design considerations for the development. Using this input, Psomas then developed a TOD specific plan that details multi-modal access to the station, connectivity within the area, and zoning and design standards. Street, sidewalk, and bicycle infrastructure design and layouts were developed to promote a more walkable environment with an emphasis on access to the commuter rail station.
