Fluence Energy Storage Facility

A battery-based energy storage system is under construction that will provide up to 400 MWh of local energy, helping the state meet its target of 100 percent clean energy by 2045. While the facility was procured specifically to provide power at times of peak demand, it will also support grid modernization, increase the integration of renewable energy, and lower costs and greenhouse gas emissions. The project includes three 50-foot tall buildings similar in appearance to data server farms.
