Del Valle Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

Del Valle was built as a conventional treatment facility in 1974. In 1988, it expanded with a new treatment process that more than doubled its capacity to 42 MGD.

This project constructs a new ozone facility while making modifications to existing facilities. Psomas is providing comprehensive construction management, construction inspection, and document control.

Ozonation will enhance the treatment process and remove many compounds that impact water quality. When completed, the Agency will have the most effective technology to provide its service area’s safest drinking water.
