The Country’s First “Green” Resort
Located in beautiful Lake Tahoe, Northstar Ski Resort embarked upon a $60 million, 21-acre redevelopment project. The Village at Northstar includes luxury condominiums, a 255-room hotel, shops, galleries, restaurants, conference facility, spa, clinical space, outdoor ice rink, and subterranean and surface parking.
The resort was recognized as the country’s first LEED® Certified resort. The project required development of a full treatment system for stormwater runoff to meet the stringent discharge requirements of the Lahonton Region Basin and rigorous water quality regulations.
