Ruby Road Bridge at Potrero Creek

Operational and safety improvements on Ruby Road are the driving factors in the replacement of this bridge. The project includes removal of the existing bridge, construction of deep-drilled pier shafts, a precast girder superstructure, and various drainage and roadway improvements.

Psomas evaluated viable structural alternatives to identify the most appropriate bridge structure for this location. The preferred alternative is a four-span, precast superstructure bridge constructed on the current alignment. Psomas is providing a project assessment, 30% plans, an environmental categorical exclusion for NEPA support, and other documentation.
