Mojave Solar Project
Powering 88,000 Households; Preventing 329,000 Metric Tons of CO2 Emissions
This $1.2 billion solar project is generating enough electricity to power about 88,000 average households while preventing 329,000 tons of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere. The 250 MW facility will generate solar electric through twin 125 MW power islands and will solar heat a heat transfer fluid to generate steam in generators.
