Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility
More Than a
Treatment Plant –
A Comprehensive Solution
The original treatment plant was below standards for discharging water into the Petaluma River. The new facility increased capacity to 6.7 million gallons per day and produces Title 22 recycled water that is used for irrigating vineyards, parks, schools, and utility water at the plant.
The project includes multiple structures, miles of pipes and electrical duct banks, and over 60 acres of wetlands with a trail system for the community. As the construction manager, Psomas provided services during the preconstruction and construction phases to ensure compliance with significant environmental permit requirements and project constraints.
