Magnolia Tank Farm Transformation

A former oil storage and pumping facility that once contained three 500,000-barrel tanks is being proposed as a 29-acre mixed-use site. The project is adjacent to Huntington State Beach, and project alternatives include a lodge/guesthouse, retail and dining, residential units, parks, and open space.

Psomas was retained by the City of Huntington Beach to prepare the environmental documentation pursuant to CEQA. The project also requires a General Plan Amendment, Zoning Map and Zoning Text Amendment, Local Coastal Program Amendment, and future entitlement applications for construction of the project.
