There is a growing need for “second opinions” prior to excavation to avoid wasted time and money in unnecessary potholing and potential conflicts during construction. Psomas is currently providing subsurface utility detection services throughout California, including for several major utility companies.

After 811 Dig Alert marks the site, our subsurface utility locators are brought in to verify the markings as well as look for additional unknown utilities. This “second opinion” reduces the possibility of dry holes from potholing and avoids conflicts that could cause construction delays.
