Coronado Transbay Wastewater Pump Station

This vital pump station pumps the sewage received from all residential, commercial, and military facilities within Coronado city limits across the bay to the City of San Diego wastewater system.

The pump station, constructed in 1971, was badly in need of improvements. Phase 1 improvements focused on facilitating pump maintenance. Phase 2 involved major improvements, including a temporary sewage bypass pumping system, repairs, and upgrades.

Psomas prepared the preliminary design report and all construction plans.
