Victory 27-mile Pipeline

Providing water to seven water districts and miscellaneous communities, Psomas provided the design of 27 miles of transmission pipeline as a part of a larger project.

The pipeline crosses unimproved private lands, agricultural lands, and road rights of way. There are also several segments that impact the nearby river, wetlands, streams, rough terrain, and historical sites. Although this system can deliver adequate pressure through gravity flow, complicated hydraulics were evaluated, including numerous grade changes, reverse grades and a reservoir to optimize system flexibility.
