January 13, 2025 – With deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, the interdisciplinary consulting services firm KPG officially merged with Psomas in 2022 while operating as KPG Psomas. In January of 2025, KPG Psomas rebranded as Psomas.
Initially formed in 1990 by a team of engineers, architects, landscape architects, and urban designers committed to and focused on community-driven public projects, KPG grew from an eight-person firm out of a small office on Seattle’s Lake Union to a staff of 130+ with offices in Seattle, Tacoma, and Wenatchee. Based on the philosophy that close collaboration between multiple design disciplines creates holistic and innovative solutions, KPG became known throughout Washington State for delivering first-rate transportation infrastructure consulting services and creating great public places that benefit the social fabric of local communities.
