I decided to go into civil engineering because, at the end of the day, I wanted the satisfaction of designing projects that were tangible and a benefit to the community that I live in.
My favorite projects to work on are the stormwater projects I’ve been working on recently. I’m helping agencies comply with stormwater regulations by designing regional infiltration projects. It’s a big benefit for the environment and for the community. I’ve also worked on a variety of private development projects.
I’ve been with Psomas for 11 years. One of the best things about working here is that from senior leadership on down we are all communicating and collaborating. We share work and clients and focus on doing what’s best for the company and not just ourselves.
When I’m not at work you can find me coaching my two boys, who are five and seven, on their baseball, soccer and basketball teams. My wife and I and our boys love spending most holiday weekends camping throughout Southern California.
