Psomas’ Brad Blood Publishes Terrestrial Mammals Scientific Article – Part II

 

Congratulations to Psomas’ Brad Blood’s (Resource Management Group in Orange County) for the publication of Part II of his scientific article on terrestrial mammals, included in the August Bulletin of the Southern California Academy of Sciences (information and a link to Part I, published in the December 2021 Bulletin, can be found HERE).

His newest article completes the update of the existing list of mammals for Los Angeles County, last published in 1959.  Brad’s article includes current and historic locations of land mammals throughout the County. These two publications (Parts I and II) document 87 mammal species, which is an increase of 18 species since the last publication. The title of his published article is: “An Annotated Checklist of the Terrestrial Mammals of Los Angeles County Part II: Eulipotyphla, Carnivora, Artiodactyla, and Chiroptera.”
