What I like about construction management is that it’s a fast-paced field—every day is different, and I see lots of progress on a daily basis. Not to mention the opportunity to be outdoors!
I was inspired to get into this field after meeting the head of Psomas’ Northern California Construction Management team. He convinced me to give construction management at Psomas a try and the rest is history!
I love making all the parts work together—finding the right solution to a problem that leads to that “aha” moment. Currently I’m the construction manager for the City of Sacramento’s Accelerated Water Meter project. I’ve also worked on a number of transportation projects like interchanges and roundabouts. At a medium–sized company like Psomas you get lots of individual attention but it’s big enough to offer plenty of project opportunities and resources.
In my free time, you’ll often see me paddle boarding on Lake Natoma, sometimes even with a picnic dinner, and hiking in the local mountains. I’m also a home improvement addict and love to tackle projects around the house. I’ve entirely redone the landscaping in my front and backyards and painted all the cabinets in my house myself!
