Improving SR-91 Through Corona

The Riverside County Transportation Commission’s (RCTC) State Route 91 Corridor Improvement Project will construct a number of new lanes and segments through Corona, California. Improvements include:

  • Two tolled express lanes and a general purpose lane from the Orange County line to I-15, and a general purpose lane to Pierce Street
  • A new direct connector between eastbound SR-91 and northbound SR-71.
  • A separate eastbound road between the Green River Road interchange and the SR-71/SR-91 interchange
  • New direct connectors linking SR-91 and I-15 tolled express lanes

As part of the Parsons program management team, Psomas is providing a full range of survey and mapping services, including:

  • Horizontal and vertical control
  • Preliminary and final right-of-way mapping and Records of Survey
  • Major survey control suitable for construction and design mapping
  • Topographic surveying, including blending new topography into existing aerial mapping
  • Verification of previously completed survey and mapping
  • Design surveys of street intersections, sewer and storm drains
  • 3-D mapping of ground and overpass underside of the SR-91
  • Legal descriptions for right-of-way acquisition
