Traditional and Comprehensive Neighborhood Development
This 98-acre development combines a conservation-oriented subdivision with traditional neighborhood design resulting in 176 residential units, a three-acre city park, community greens, neighborhood retail, a church, trail system, and 23 acres of preserved open space.
As the first development in west Farmington to utilize the city’s planned unit development standards within the A-1 agricultural zone, the design yielded a variety of compatible housing types and price points, while preserving significant areas as wildlife habitat protected with conservation easements. Single family detached housing lots range from 2,500 sf to equestrian estate lots in excess of one acre.
Located adjacent to a “Rail Trail” corridor and within one-half mile of UTA’s FrontRunner commuter rail station, Farmington Greens won a Governor’s Quality Growth Award of Excellence from the State of Utah for comprehensive neighborhood development and implementation. Psomas’ services included program definition, entitlements, development agreement and homeowner association documents, detailed site planning, engineering design, and surveying.
