Improving Program Management with GIS

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PSHIA) initiated the Community Noise Reduction Program (CNRP) as part of its on-going effort to mitigate aircraft noise within the impacted areas around the airport. The program represents PSHIA’s effort and long-term commitment to community service, environmental protection, and land-use compatibility compliance set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Psomas designed and developed the enterprise GIS for the CNRP which includes:

  • GIS Web Portal
  • Centralized data repository
  • Form-based business applications
  • Map-based GIS application
