Psomas Taps Ryan McLean to be CEO

At the beginning of the year Ryan McLean became the new Chief Executive Officer of Psomas. McLean is taking the reins from Blake Murillo, who will continue as Chairman of the Board.

Previously, McLean was the firm’s Chief Development Officer. His focus was on growing the company through managing the corporate sales team, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, and identifying additional services and geographies that offer the potential for growth.

No stranger to identifying opportunities for growth, as the former Corporate Director of Survey and Mapping McLean built the Psomas Survey Group into the largest survey operation in the Western United States. With over three decades of experience, he managed some of the firm’s largest projects.

McLean is involved in a number of professional organizations to advance the engineering and survey profession. These include the American Council of Engineering Companies, the California Land Surveyors Association, the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering, the International Right-of-Way Association, and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
