Psomas is excited to announce Mary J. Fiore, MBA, has joined the firm as our new Corporate Controller based in Culver City, California. As part of our Accounting & Accounts Payable team, Mary will provide continuing financial oversight and contribute to firmwide growth and strategic planning.
“Mary brings an entire career of industry experience to Psomas along with a fun and team-oriented approach to leadership,” said Nick Tarditti, CFO. “We are pleased Mary chose Psomas as her new home! She understands our people-first culture and will be a great resource for the teams and groups throughout the company.”
Mary brings nearly three decades experience in all areas of financial operations, most recently serving as Controller for Los Angeles-based architectural firms A.C. Martin and Steinberg Hart. Prior to her work in Los Angeles architecture, she was Program Controller for Bicycle Transit Systems, Inc., providing financial oversight on an expanding $53M contract to operate and maintain the LA Metro Bike Share Program.
A native of Massachusetts, Mary also served as Corporate Controller of The Vertex Companies, a global AEC firm based in Weymouth, MA; during her 10-year tenure at Vertex she was part of the management team that formed and implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), playing a key role in facilitating the firm’s buyback in 2005 after a 2001 acquisition by Tetra Tech.
At Psomas we are proud to be a 100% employee-owned firm and the enhanced productivity it promotes, and we look forward to adding Mary’s expertise to the management and growth of our already robust plan.
