Master Plan of Site Plus First Medical Office

Kaiser purchased a 44-acre greenfield site in the city of Lancaster to meet increased membership needs in the Antelope Valley. Proposed development of the site includes a 400,000 SF hospital with up to 200 beds, a 30,000 SF central utility plant, and up to 256,000 SF of medical office space, to be constructed in three phases over a 25-year period. A 135,000 SF medical office is the first building to be constructed.

As a part of a team, Psomas provided civil engineering and surveying services for both the master planning of the site as well as development of the first medical office. Services include planning, civil engineering, surveying, and traffic engineering.

The project also required off-site improvements to adjacent streets, public sewer systems, recycled water system, and storm drainage systems.

Thanks to J&M Concrete Contractors for creating the video below, a montage of aerials of the project.
