Kent Norton has joined Psomas’ Environmental Planning Group as a Senior Project Manager.
Kent has 40 years of experience in CEQA/NEPA compliance on a wide range of public and private sector projects, including residential, mixed-use, industrial, education/institution, transportation, public works, and recreation projects. He is also a Registered Environmental Property Assessor and prepares hazardous material assessments.
“With his decades of environmental analysis experience spanning a wide array of projects throughout Southern California, Kent is a great addition to our team,” said Joan Patronite Kelly, leader of the company’s Environmental Group.
Kent has been an active member of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP) at both the local and State level for many years. Since 2010, he has been a director-at-large and, prior to that, he was the State Board president. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and American Planning Association.
He holds both a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies, with an emphasis in urban and regional planning, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University, Fullerton.
