Under-Utilized Lots Transformed Into Large Mixed-Use Projects

Contributing to the growing activity in the South Park neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles, Mack Urban will transform under-utilized lots into large mixed-use projects with residential, neighborhood-serving retail, and hotel uses. Providing multiple green spaces and building a strong transit connection, the project aims to improve the public realm and create a vibrant neighborhood within South Park.

Psomas leads the entitlement process for several properties within the project boundary. The first South Park site seeks construction of a new 41-story mixed-use development with 461 residential condominium units, approximately 8,700 SF of ground floor commercial uses and construction of a new 300-room hotel. On an adjacent site, the project proposes construction of two, 7-story mixed-use buildings with 362 residential condominium units and 4,000 SF of commercial uses. Entitlements consist of vesting tentative tract maps, site plan review, conditional use permits, and variances.
